Best Drug Book For RN students! November 14, 2005 I Like Cheese (living in Luckytown) 26 out of 26 found this review helpful
This was the first drug book I bought in RN school. My friends bought Mosby's, Saunders, & Springhouse. They are always borrowing my Mosby's because theirs either does not have the drug they need, or it does not have all the SE listed for CV, etc, or it does not have the herbal interactions listed. Mosby's has all those. It is a complete drug book. I won't buy another brand in the future. Sticking with Mosby's. The only complaint I have is that after 2+ years, the binding cracked on mine, and huge chuncks of pages are falling out of the binding. The book gets kind of abused in my book bag. So, that is why I am buying a new 2006 version today.
Mosby's 2005 Nursing Drug Reference September 10, 2005 Ann M. Emler (Piketon, OH USA) 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
I work at a nursing home that uses two other Nursing Drug books. They are not organized in a manner that I can easily use. Mosby's is by far the easiest and quickest way to find a drug's information. I keep my Mosby's on my med cart at all times and use it frequently. This is the third Mosby's I have bought. Stick with a winner!
Easy to use March 26, 2006 Pamela J. Erb (Southwest Missouri) 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
The reason I chose to purchase these drug reference books for the county jail I work for, is that the text is very easy to use. You do not have to look in the index in the back of the book if you already know the generic name of the drug. A great majority of the prescribed medications are in generic form and this text is in alphabetical order, not by drug class, which many other texts use. My correction officers as well as I are very pleased with it! It makes our jobs much easier!
Thanks!

Well organized, specific and concise. An exellent reference book that is uncluttered and provides the information on a consistant basis.
Great Book! August 31, 2006 L. Jaramillo (Austin, Tx) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I am a MA student and I bought this book to do PDR's for my classes. I am able to find all the drugs that I have to look up and it is a great book in that it's easy to read and understand when looking for the Indications, Contraindications, Dosage & Forms, etc. I recommend this book!
